“The second edition of the Windsurf Girls on Tour event was a success. Massive thanks to Pauline Katz for her passion and for putting so much effort into this. There were 25 participants and 10+ coaches. A total of 40 women on the water!”

What was the goal of the Girls on Tour Day?

“This event is to motivate and inspire other women to get out on the water. Pozo is not the easiest place to windsurf, but it was amazing to see so many women get out there. We had three different groups: Pozo first timers, Wave ride basics and Forward loop.”

“There was a group for every level and this makes this event accessible to everyone. It was great to see so many smiling faces and women supporting each other.”

What did the program look like?

“After a couple of hours on the water, we had a nice dinner at El Viento while analyzing the videos of the day. In the end, we had some cool giveaways, including a Starboard Hyper! We hope to do this next year and that even more women will participate!”
