Windsurf Wipeouts from the 2023 Fiji Pro Surf – Video

Watch some really massive windsurfing wipeouts from the 2023 IWT/PWA Fiji Pro Surf event in June. Australian Filmer Paul van Bellen captured some really hard wipeouts from the pros at Cloudbreak. He created incredible angles with his drone camera on the world-class action. Luckily none of the riders got injured badly!

Fiji is legendary for its big surf, and Cloudbreak is one of the most famous breaks. Cloudbreak is a port tack fast hollow wave, which breaks over a coral reef. Depending on the height of the wave the current can be pretty strong. The spot is located a mile off Tavarua island, which is surrounded by a coral reef. By the way, the spot is not far from Namotu where the first PWA Fiji Wave Classic was held in 1997! The 2023 event definitely will go down in history.

A raw edit of the wipeouts I managed to film from the event. A few beatdowns & some bruised egos but no one seriously injured so that’s a win! Paul van Bellen
