Als begeisterte Wingfoiler sehen wir in den sozialen Medien ständig Bilder und Videos von Wingern die sich in gigantische Wellen stürzen oder bei Sprüngen in unglaubliche Höhen aufsteigen. Dies entzieht sich bei den meisten Wingern jeglicher Vorstellungskraft. Mit dem richtigen Material ist der Weg dorthin jedoch für jeden möglich. Mit einer großen Auswahl an Board-Größen und durch die Adaptive Strap-Montageoptionen wurde mit dem Link die Barriere für den Einstieg in das Sinkerboardfahren überwunden. Mit dem komplett neuen, vertieften Deck, der optimierten Volumenverteilung und dem geglätteten Tail-Shape hilft dir das Link beim Aufstehen und Losfahren, bietet dir nach Sprüngen eine sanfte Landung und schnelle Regeneration

• CARBONLITE-KONSTRUKTION – Ein außergewöhnlich leichter und auftriebsstarker EPS-Kern, verbunden mit einer vollständigen Karbon-Ummantelung.

• DIE RAILS – Die Abgeschrägten Rails helfen nicht nur bei harten Carving-Manövern, sondern auch dabei den Wasserfluss beim Start freizusetzen. Gerade bei Touchdowns ermöglicht es dir dieser Shape wieder schnell zurück aufs Foil zu kommen.

• ALLES ÜBER KURVEN – Die neue sanft geschwungene Outline unterstützt ein leichtes lösen von der Wasseroberfläche und für ein schnelles Aufsteigverhalten auf das Foil.

• KICKIN IT – Das aggressive Kick-Tail und die seitlichen Release-Channels ermöglichen einen früheren Flug, indem sie die Haftung des Boards auf dem Wasser reduzieren.

• STRAP KONFIGURATION – Wähle zwischen einer 2- oder 3-Strap Position mit einer Vielzahl von Winkelgraden, je nach deinem Fahrstil.

TECHNISCHE MERKMALE

• WINGFOIL KONSTRUKTION – Die Kräfte beim Wingfoiling sind mit keiner anderen Boardsportart vergleichbar. Standard-Konstruktionen reichen nicht aus. Deshalb haben wir eine neue spezielle Wingfoil-Konstruktion entwickelt. Mit einem leichten EPS-Kern nutzt das Board eine langlebige Verbundkonstruktion mit Karbon-Stringern die in eine Richtung laminiert werden. So hält dieses Board vor allem den Kräften bei harten Landungen stand.

• KONKAVES DECK – Das komplett neue konkave Deck senkt die Fußposition, um Reaktionsfähigkeit und das Ansprechverhalten zu erhöhen. Dies führt zu einem direkteren Gefühl und einer effizienten Kraftübertragung.

• FULL DECK PAD – Das aus biologisch abbaubarem EVA hergestellte Dakine Friendly Foam Traction Pad wurde speziell für das Foilen entwickelt. Low Profile Cord Rillen bieten die perfekte Mischung aus Komfort und Traktion und die Ausschnitte wurden an den Stellen platziert, wo zusätzlicher Grip benötigt wird.

While these images can be thought of as out of reach of most, with the right equipment anything is possible. With a large range of sizes and through the Adaptive Strap mounting options, the barrier of entry into sinker board riding has been broken.

With all new recessed deck, volume distribution and smoothed out tail shape, the Link helps you get up and going, but also releases back up when touching down after jumps.

Technical Points

• Wingfoil Construction – The forces found in Wingfoiling are like no other board sport. Standard constructions simply don’t cut it, and as such we have developed a specific wingfoil construction. With a lightweight EPS core the board utilises a durable composite construction with a full carbon skin to withstand these forces.

• CONCAVE DECK – The all new concave deck lowers the foot position to increase reactivity and response. This translates into a more direct feeling through the board, and the most efficient power transfer to date.

• DOUBLE CONCAVE – The new double concave nose provides not only directional stability when getting up and riding and when touching down, but also allows for caclulated water displacement when touch downs occur when riding or after jumps.
